Pak avalanche: Dead bodies of 2 more students recovered

Rescue teams today recovered two more bodies of students from the debris after nine people including eight students were buried in a avalanche that strucknorthwest Pakistan earlier this month.

District police officer Asif Iqbal saiddead bodies of two more students have beenrecovered from the snow at Sosom valley of Chitral district in Khyber Paktunkhwa.

The bodies of fivestudents are still missing and strained under avalanche debris, the police official added.

Nine people including eight students and one passerby were buried under heavy avalanche on March 19, at Sosom valleywhen they were coming back afterappearing in examination of ninth class paper.
 

Local people had recovered two dead bodies soon after the incidentand seven were missing since then.

The search for the remaining five students is still going on.
