The Juvenile Justice Board in Faridkot had ordered the release of Kasif, a resident of Okara in Pakistan, last month after his arrest in Ferozepur district, Deputy Commissioner Ravi Bhagat said today.
The district administration has written to the Union Home Ministry and the state Home Department for his early repatriation, he said, adding that they were waiting for necessary directions in this regard. PTI Cor SUN DBR AVT
