The delegation comprised Law Minister in Pakistan's Punjab province Rana Sanaullan, Deputy Speaker Rana Mashood Ahmed, Member National Assembly Khurram Dastgir, Senator Kamran Michael, and Special Assistant to Pak's Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Jahan Zaib Waran, reached Attari.
Earlier, Pakistan's Punjab province Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, who was the chief guest of the final match, had cancelled his a visit to India due to health problem.
Rana Sanaullan, Law Minister of Western Punjab said Indo-Pak relations have traversed through numerous oscillations and phases over last six decades but things are now heading for positive turn.
"A breath of fresh life and amity has been breathed by increased socio-cultural contacts and stage is set for enhanced economic cooperation by resolving the issues across the table," he said.
Talking to reporters, Punjab Minister Bikram Majithia said Kabaddi has proved to be a via media for restoration of amicable relations.
He said Kabaddi has been the game of pre-partition Punjab and occupies a cherished place in the hearts of people of Eastern and Western Punjab.

"Participating in World Cup Kabaddi and mutual sports and cultural exchanges will go a long way in efforts to dismantle the bottlenecks that have been built between India and Pakistan, over years," he said.
He said Chief Minister of Punjab (Pakistan) Shahbaj Sharif and Deputy Chief Minister Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal have worked out at length to cut the gordian knot for improving the prospects of bilateral trade.
"They have proposed forming of joint committees for the same and now it is up to Union Governments of both India and Pakistan to maintain a positive momentum for mutual Peace, Prosperity and Progress," he said.
