A fighter jet of the Pakistan Air Force crashed in the restive Balochistan province today due to a "technical fault" but no casualty was reported, the second such incident in two weeks.
The jet crashed on the outskirts of provincial capital Quetta.
A spokesman for PAF said the pilot ejected safely before the aircraft came down.

"The aircraft crashed in a vacant area and there was no loss of life and property in the area," he said.
The Air Headquarter has ordered an inquiry into the incident to determine the exact cause of the crash.
This is the second incident in two weeks where a military aircraft has crashed around Quetta, the capital city of the troubled Baluchistan province.
On September 20, a trainer aircraft had crashed in Loralai near Quetta in which two pilots were injured.
