The dead whale will be auctioned here tomorrow.
The fishermen caught the dead whale 40 kilometres off the coast of Karachi, according to Fish Harbour Authority.
"Although the whale was dead but still it is not an easy task bringing it to the shore," Ahmed Jan, an official from the Authority, said.
The vessel which caught the whale, weighing three tons, was named Safina Amraaj, he said.
"The whale will now be auctioned on Saturday at the port," he said.
