Seven persons, including five children, from the same family were killed when a fire erupted in their house in Pakistan's garrison city of Rawalpindi.
The fire broke out last night in two-storey house due to short-circuit, killing Shaukat Cheema, 35, his wife Aisha, 32, and their five children - the eldest 14, while the youngest four years old, Radio Pakistan reported.
Their deaths were caused due to suffocation. The bodies were shifted to District Headquarters Hospital.
The fire was brought under control within few hours.
