A Pakistani national has been arrested here for allegedly possessing brown sugar worth 5 million Sri Lankan rupees.
The Pakistani had made more than 20 trips to Sri Lanka while posing as a journalist attached to a Pakistani news agency, the anti-narcotics unit of the Sri Lanka Customs said today.
He was accused of masterminding a heroin distribution operation in Central Colombo's Grandpass area.
He will be produced in a court later, officials said.
