A Pakistan National, who had married a local woman fraudulently by claiming to be an Indian citizen, was today taken into custody, police said.

A police release said he entered India illegally and threatened his wife and step-daughter, saying he would upload obscene pictures of the minor on the internet.

Md Usman Ikram, native of Mianwali in Punjab, Pakistan, married the local woman when he was working in Dubai, it said.

Later she came to know that he is not an Indian as claimed but Pakistani, the release said.

After she came back to India, Usman too came to India saying he is on a visit visa for six months, but later she came to know that he came to India illegally via Nepal, the release said.

The woman was previously married and had two children.

She alleged that Usman Ikram had secretly videographed obscene photographs and videos of her daughter and sold the clipping to some person, which went viral in the internet.

The Pakistani threatened that he will expose her daughters nude photos to public and tried to blackmail her for money, the release said.

"The cybercrime police obtained the required details of the accused and tracked and apprehended him," it said.

On inquiry it was found that Mohd.Usman Ikram is from Punjab State of Pakistan, the release said.

He entered Nepal from Pakistan by air route, from where he illegally crossed the border by road and arrived at Delhi and then at Hyderabad, it said.

After arriving in India, he had created fake residential documents and education degrees through various agents and had been doing sundry jobs in private firms, the police said.
