Pak not yet invited to Surajkund handicraft mela

Pakistan has so far been not extended any invitation to participate in the 31st Surajkund International Crafts Mela even as the Haryana government has asked 50 countries to join the fair beginning next week, an official said today.

"Pakistan has not been sent an invitation to participate in the Mela till now," Mela official Rajesh Jun said.

Invitations have been sent to 50 countries of which 16 have confirmed their participation, he informed.

The Surajkund International Crafts Mela in Haryana will begin on February 1 and end February 15.
