Pakistan Police claimed to have made a 'significant breakthrough' by detaining four militants in connection with the Karachi bus attack incident in which 45 Shia Ismaili Muslims were killed by IS militants, a media report said today.
"Four suspects have been detained on charges of their involvement in the killings of Shia Ismaili community members," an investigating sleuth who is the member of a high- level probe body was quoted by Dawn as saying.
The officer, who wished not to be named, said that they considered the detention of the four suspects as a 'significant breakthrough' in the investigation, which might help them ascertain the identity and motive of the attackers.
