The nephew of Pakistan President Mamnoon Hussain is untraceable after miscreants opened fire on his shop earlier today when he refused to pay extortion money despite several threats.
A police investigating officer familiar with the case told PTI that the President's nephew, Abdul Mutalib who runs the Jeddah ice cream shop near Lighthouse in the old area of the city had not come forward until late today to register a FIR in the case.
"From what we know some people had demanded extortion money from him but he refused to pay them. On Tuesday night they came to his shop and opened fire but ran away after retaliatory fire from some people present there at that time," the officer said.
