Pakistani prisoner Sanaullah, who was critically injured in an attack in a Jammu jail, was admitted to the multi-speciality Post Graduate Institute of Medical Science and Research (PGIMER) here this evening, for specialised treatment.
Sanaullah was brought by an air ambulance and was admitted to the Advanced Trauma Centre of PGIMER, officials said.
Heavy police deployment has been made at the PGIMER to prevent any eventuality.

Sanaullah, son of Ashiq Hussain of Pakistan, was attacked by inmates led by a murder accused Vinod Kumar of Uttrakhand, in the high security barracks of Kot Bilwal jail in Jammu this morning, police officers said.
He was critically injured in the attack and was rushed to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital at Jammu for treatment.
Sanaullah, has been imprisonment since April 1999 for his involvement in militancy in Jammu and Kashmir.
