The bomber struck when scores of people gathered for the funeral of Haji Abdullah, the owner of a petrol pump who was gunned down by unidentified men on Monday night. Abdullah was known to the legislator.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack, though police said that the bomber's target was Mohmand, who was elected as an Independent candidate in the May 11 general election, but he later joined Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf party.
