The political situation in Jammu and Kashmir was being deliberately vitiated by Pakistan and India should reassess its relationship with the country, an organisation of displaced Kashmiri Pandits has said.

"The political scenario in J-K is being deliberately vitiated by the agent provocateurs and surrogate elements supported and sponsored by Pakistan," Panun Kashmir President, Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, said today.

In a situation where Pakistan is regarded in some quarters as an 'epicentre of global terrorism', the country's internal as well as external policies had made it a safe heaven for fugitives, terrorists and rough elements, Chrungoo said.

In light of the above, the government of India needs to take a serious relook at the entire gamut of its relationship with Pakistan, he said.
