Pakistan is waiting for the new government to be formed in India for peace talk process to be restarted, Governor of Pakistani Punjab Mohammad Sarwar said here today.

Indian leadership is busy with the upcoming parliamentary elections and Pakistani government was waiting for the new government to be formed to restart the peace dialogue process, Sarwar told reporters here.

The Governor, who is here to attend a wedding function, said it was a purely private visit, but he would meet Punjab Governor Shivraj Patil, Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal and his cabinet colleagues.
