Neighbours Pakistan thrashed Argentina 3-0 in the first practice match, while England held Netherlands 1-1 in another warm-up game ahead of the FIH Champions Trophy that begins here on Saturday.
Muhammad Irfan opened the account for Pakistan the first quarter, followed by goals from Muhammad Arslan Qadir in the second quarter and Muhammad Rizwan Sr.
Speaking after the match, Pakistan captain Muhammad Imran said, "We want to play a good number of practice matches before the start of the Champions Trophy. Though we should not compare practice matches with real tournament, but today's win will give us confidence."

Meanwhile in another practice match, one of the tournament favourites, the Netherlands were held to a 1-1 draw by England.
Both the teams played a defensive game and used most of their players from the squads during the match.
