A Pakistani anti-drone campaigner, picked up from his home by unidentified men over a week ago, was dumped on the outskirts of the garrison city of Rawalpindi today in an injured condition.
Kareem Khan was blindfolded and bore marks of torture, his lawyer Shahzad Akbar said.
"He is now in our office. He was dropped off early this morning on the outskirts of Rawalpindi. He was tortured," Akbar, himself a leading campaigner against US drone strikes, told PTI.

Khan will travel tonight to Dubai, from where he will fly to Germany, Akbar said.
A resident of the tribal belt, Khan lost his son and his brother in a drone strike in North Waziristan Agency in 2009.
He had been due to travel to Europe to meet members of the British, German and Dutch parliaments when he was seized from his Rawalpindi home on February 5 by men in police uniforms and plainclothes.
Khan had filed a case calling for members of the Central Intelligence Agency to be prosecuted for deaths caused by the spy planes operated by the US spy agency.
He also sued the Pakistan government for its failure to effectively investigate the deaths of his son and brother.
