A six-year-old minor Pakistani boy has been arrested by Railway police for allegedly throwing a stone at a moving train and injuring a ticket collector in Punjab province.

According to the FIR, Ahsan of Chak Subhan Shah, Okara, some 130 kilometres from Lahore, was playing near the track yesterday when he threw a stone at Pakpattan-bound Farid Express injuring railway ticket collector Yasin Gulzar.

A railway police team raided the boy's house and arrested him under sections 127 and 130 of Pakistan Railway Act.

The minor was presented before a magistrate who granted him bail on personal surety of his father.

Ahsan's father pleaded before the magistrate that his son was playing along with other children and he might have thrown a stone but he had no intention to injure someone.

The ticket collector who registered a case against the boy said, he was present in a bogie when a stone hit him which came outside of the window.
