Pakistan's eminent music composer Wajahat Attre, who composed the music of more than 200 films, has died. He was 68.
Attre had been suffering from paralysis and heart problems and breathed his last yesterday at the Jinnah Hospital Lahore. He was laid to rest at Miani Sahib graveyard.
Attre was born in Puna (Gujarat), India in 1945. After Partition, his family migrated to Pakistan. He was a son of noted music composer Rasheed Attre.

He had composed music for 3,000 film and non-film songs.
Attre worked with many eminent singers including Noor Jehan, Humera Channa, Saira Naseem, Shabnam Majeed, Saima Mumtaz and Azra Jahan.
