Kumar thanked the Pakistani delegation, led by the Senate leader Jahangir Badar, for visiting Bihar during their visit to India to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
Speaking on the occasion, Badar said he and his fellow visitors were glad to get an opportunity to visit Bihar and lauded the "prevailing atmosphere of peace and tranquillity and communal harmony in the state."
"Bihar has registered tremendous growth in the past decade which is a matter of research," he said and congratulated Kumar for ushering in development in the state through exemplary leadership.
Badar said members of Pakistani parliamentary delegation will tell their countrymen about the growth story of Bihar and would like them to emulate the hardwork of the people of Bihar for their prosperity.
Badar extended invitation to Nitish Kumar to visit Pakistan and its four provinces and share his experience with the people and leaders of the neighbouring country so that they could draw inspiration from him.
Another Senator Haji Md Adeel extended invitation to Kumar on behalf of the Punjab Chief Minister Md Shahwaz Sharif and the Chief Ministers and Governors of all four provinces and said that his visit and interaction with the Pakistani leaders will enable them to adopt measures taken by him to eradicate corruption and empower the women and girls.
