A Pakistani prisoner, who was arrested 13 years ago on charges of spying, was repatriated today after his jail term ended.

Jaseen Alam Khan, resident of Gujrawalla in Pakistan, underwent 13 years jail term at Rajasthan's Jodhpur prison for allegedly spying and using fake passport and visa.

He was brought here after being freed from Jodhpur jail under tight security and handed over to Pakistan at Joint Check Post on Attari-Wagah border.

Khan crossed over to Pakistan through the land transit route on the basis of 'Emergency Travel Certificate'.

He had travelled to Mumbai on an alleged fake passport and visa on the pretext of visiting his uncle based there. He began living in the country and was allegedly spying for Pakistan but was subsequently arrested.
