Aides to the Palestinian president say he is preparing a new appeal to the international community to order Israel to end its occupation of lands captured in the 1967 Mideast war.
The officials say President Mahmoud Abbas' appeal is part of a "day after" plan following the end of the current war in the Gaza Strip.
The officials say Abbas will ask the U.N. Security Council to set a deadline for Israel to withdraw from lands captured in 1967 to make way for a Palestinian state.
