Jharkhand Labour minister Raj Paliwar today urged the newly recruited officials of the department to become part of the development process in the state to ensure smiles on the faces of 3.25 crore population.
Handing over appointment letters to 24 newly recruited officials of Jharkhand Employment Service and 20 officials of Jharkhand Labour Services (General) at a function held in Project Bhawan here today, Paliwar said various programmes to benefit the poor and labourers have been launched by the state government and they should shoulder the responsibility to implement it properly, an official release said here.
The department has taken initiative to provide skill training to youths of the state, so that they can get employment easily in industrial units, he said.

Assuring that migration would not take place from the state, Paliwar said the government was making sincere efforts to establish network of industries in the mineral-rich state.
"The outcome of the government's efforts will be visible soon," he said.
The Principal Secretary of the Department, S K G Rahate said labour power has an important role to play in the industry-driven state.
