Prices of palmolein and mustard oils firmed up by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following upsurge in demand from retailers coupled with restricted supplies from producing belts.
Linseed oil, in the non-edible section, also showed some strength on increased offtake by consuming industries.
Traders said besides pick-up in demand from retailers, restricted supplies from producing regions mainly pushed up palmolein and mustard oil prices.
