Palmolein oil prices drifted by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today due to low demand from retailers.

However, other edible and non-edible oils after moving in a tight range in limited deals, settled around previous levels.

Traders said low demand from retailers against higher supplies from producing belts mainly kept pressure on palmolein oil prices.

In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils shed another Rs 50 each to Rs 5,200 and Rs 5,100 per quintal, respectively.
