Palmolein oil prices edged higher by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on scattered demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled at previous levels.
Traders said uptick in demand from retailers, mainly attributed the rise in palmolein oil prices.
