Palmolein and soyabean oils rose by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following increased offtake by millers and retailers amid a firm global trend.
However, non-edible oils held steady on scattered deals.
Traders said increased buying by vanaspati millers and retailers and a firm global trend mainly led to the surge in the oil prices.
