An inter-ministerial panel has asked Damodar Valley Corporation to request Coal Ministry to provide fuel supply for a unit of its plant in Jharkhand.
"On account of coal block allocation in the past, fuel supply agreement (FSA) cannot be signed with Chandrapura Unit-8. However, DVC may make a comprehensive/consolidated recommendation to Coal Ministry through Power Ministry," an official said.
The matter had come up for discussion in the meeting of standing linkage committee.
