The Bhati Commission, constituted to look into alleged scams during the previous BJP government in Uttarakhand, today submitted its report to Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna.

Bahuguna said the recommendations of the Commission would be implemented only after detailed study of the report.

The Commission, headed by retired IAS officer K R Bhati, was set up on May 10 last year in line with an announcement made by the ruling Congress in its poll manifesto that the alleged scams during the previous BJP regime would be probed.

The Commission was initially alloted six months' time to submit its report.

The probe panel was given an extension of six months in October last year.
