As the Panjab University Students' council is set to go to polls tomorrow, none of the parties participating in the election have got their manifestos printed.

"We are verbally informing the students about our poll promises during campaigning and are also taking feedback from them to be able to set an agenda," Panjab University Students Union (PUSU) leader Yadwinder Singh said.

Even though no formal manifesto had been printed, the party has been interacting with students and taking notes on all the issues which need to be addressed, he said.

Earlier, student organisations used to release their poll promises much in advance so that students could read them and thereafter extend their support on the promises made.

Student Organisation of Panjab University (SOPU) leader Vikramjit Singh Medukhera said that his party had a team in place which was regularly meeting student representatives and chalking out various issues which would be fulfilled if his party won the elections.
