Pantel launches 'Bharat Phone' range with BSNL

Pantel Technologies today launched a range of devices priced below Rs 2,000 in partnership with telecom operator BSNL, targeted at the affordable handset market in India.

Priced 1,199, the PF100 handset is designed to deliver Internet access at affordable price points, the company said in a statement.

The Penta Bharat Phone have dual SIM functionality, 1.3 megapixel rear camera, 1,800 mAh battery, 64 MB RAM and 64 MB of internal storage and other features like SMS scheduler, mobile tracker, auto voice call recording support.

The device will also be bundled with BSNL plans.

The Android Jellybean powered device (upgradable to the latest Kitkat OS) features a five-inch HD IPS display, 1.3 GHz dual core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32 GB), XOLO said in a statement.

Lenovo unveils ThinkCentre E73z All-In-One for Rs 40K onwards

* Chinese technology firm Lenovo today unveiled its new ThinkCentre E73z All-In-One (AIO) PC, priced Rs 40,000 onwards.

The 20-inch PC features Intel Core i7 processor and desktop class H81 chipset that improve performance by 10 per cent, Lenovo said.

Equipped with 16GB RAM for faster and smoother response, the AIO has Windows 8 OS and View Management Utility Software (VMU), which helps manage multiple active displays and allows multitasking.
