The big cat was suspected to have been killed by poachers as its carcass was found hidden under the bushes yesterday.
The poachers allegedly killed the feline by laying a live wire in the area about 8-10 days back and later chopped off its paws, the officials said.
One person, identified as Bhiten Marar, was arrested in this regard and a hunt has been launched to nab his four other associates, they said.
