"NC-led government is discriminating against Jammu region...Particularly to the migrants...To end this discrimination, we demand reorganisation of the state," JKNPP chief Bhim Singh told reporters here today.
He accused the government of defying a Supreme Court order of paying Rs 21 crore relief to migrants in Jammu region. However, the government is paying relief amount and giving ration to migrants in Kashmir for the past 20 years, he said.
The government is discriminating against Jammu region also in the area of power and water supply, the JKNPP chief said, demanding separate legislature, civil secretariat and budgets for Kashmir, Jammu and Ladakh regions.
