"We appeal to the KPs to adopt the three-child norm to strengthen the community," said one of the resolutions which passed in a meeting of Panun Kashmir presided over by its chairman Ajay Chungroo.

He said, "all the frameworks on the return and rehabilitation of the internally displaced Kashmiri Hindus presented by the government so far have remained non-starters. The return processes initiated by the government do not address the causes of forced exodus."

The resolutions also exhorted the youths to play a pivotal role in safeguarding the community identity and also striving to seek justice for the relief holders, camp dwellers and those living in rented accommodations.

Chungroo also spoke about the challenges faced by the KP community in exile.
