Press Trust of India Jammu
Panun Kashmir, an organisation claiming to represent Kashmiri Pandits, today attacked the state government for posting women teachers of the community to Kashnmir Valley.

The outfit claimed that Kashmir Valley was not a safe place for the Pandits as the separatists were ruling the roost.

"The government is discriminating with Kashmiri Pandit community as all of them were posted to Kashmir at a time when the community is being subjected to religious cleansing for the past 25 years," Ajay Chrungoo Chairman, Panun Kashmir said in a statement said.

Terming the recent order in which state government has transferred women teachers of the community to Kashmir as a communal decision, Chrungoo said that the decision would have serious ramifications.

"It speaks volumes about the seriousness of the government about the safety and security of the Kashmiri Pandits besides their return and rehabilitation," he said.
