Dr Rajababu Panwar was today appointed as vice chancellor of Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) here by Governor Kalyan Singh.
Panwar has been appointed on the post in consultation with the state government for five years or 70 years of age, whichever is earlier, stated a release from the Governor's secretariat.
RUHS was established under the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act, 2005 and aims to disseminate and advance knowledge in medical and health sciences.
The University provides academic and research facilities in various streams to students studying in various government colleges (medical, dental, nursing, pharmacy and paramedical) and private colleges or institutions affiliated to it.
