The 54-year-old allegedly pushed and shoved a snapper in New York when he was leaving the City Marriage License Bureau with fiancee Hilaria Thomas, reported Access Hollywood.

"There's a different part of the press, what I will call the illegitimate press, they had made an appointment for me that I wasn't aware of, and they come jumping out of the bushes to remind me about it and that creates a problem.

"It's a very stressful thing because for me, it's ruining the life of my wife to-be, and what if I had a kid? It really is something that's become a menace," he said.

Baldwin said his encounters with pesky photographers have continued all week.

"Most of the paparazzi have their foot out to trip you. They want you to fall on the ground and they want to get that shot. They want you to pick your nose and get that shot. They want to provoke you or catch you. They're not there to make you look good. The paparazzi are never there to make you look good, never. I wish I could really think that they served a useful purpose," he added.
