Para teacher shot at

A para teacher was today shot at by unidentified gunmen at Pataghate village in Lohardaga district, the police said.

The para teacher, Mohan Yadav, was hit by a bullet , Superintendent of Police Mritinjay Kumar said.

His condition was serious and doctors at the Primary Health Centre where he was taken referred him to the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences in Ranchi, Kumar said.

Yadav works as a para (ad hoc) teacher in a primary school at his native Presrar village, the police said.
