Paralegal men to help rural people exchange demonetised notes

District Legal Services Authority here has decided to help people, particularly in rural areas, to exchange demonetised currency with new notes at the banks.

Help desks will be set up comprising paralegal volunteers at each bank to guide and help people especially those from rural areas to change their old 500 and 1000 rupee notes without a hassle, Civil Judge and head of District Legal Services Authority Rajeev Dhawan said.

Such volunteers will be appointed from various towns of the district, he said adding that the process has already started.
