A one-year-old girl was allegedly strangulated to death by her parents at their residence on Old Goa near here today, police said.
"The police station was informed by father of the girl that she died in her sleep in morning," police inspector Uday Parab told PTI.
During the investigation, police found that the girl, identified as Chandani Kumari, was killed after strangulation.
"We have taken into custody her parents Harban Mahato and Santra for interrogation," Parab said.
