The parents of a minor girl here have been taken into custody for allegedly harassing and forcing her into flesh trade, police said today.
The victim (17) alleged in her complaint to the police that her mother, Nirmala Sharma and father, Sanjay Sharma were harassing and forcing her into a sex racket, Kotwali Police Station In-charge Yogendra Sisodia said today.
They were taken into custody yesterday and are being questioned on the issue.
Sisodia said that a case under relevant sections of IPC and Protection of Children From Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) was registered against them on the complaint of their daughter and further investigations in the matter is on.
