Parents of the students of a private primary school today squatted on the road in front of the school, protesting the sudden closure of the school, the land of which was taken possession by the City Corporation.
The Corporation has taken possession of the 30 cent of land where the school was constructed and the lease period already ended last year.
The management, following a dispute approached a court, which had asked the secretary, Municipal Administration to pass appropriate order in this regard.

Parents, in large number, along with students, came to the school this morning and entered into argument with management over sudden closure of the sjhoo, police said.
As they squatted on the middle of the road, secretary and police officials arrived at the spot and convinced the agitators.
When the school management requested the secretary to allow the school to function during this academic year, the official reportedly asked the management to give the requisition in writing so that it can be put forward to the authorities for consideration, they said.
