Showing great consistency, seasoned pro Siddharth Parikh produced another sterling performance by compiling a mammoth break of 189 to star in Adamo Potters' 3-0 rout of RRockets in the 2nd Videocon Billiards Premier League today.

The tournament-high break by Parikh (-240 handicap) came against Dhvaj Haria (-190) in the Rs 10-lakh prize money event organised by the Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra at the P J Hindu Gymkhana here.

Potters got off to a bright start as their doubles pairing of Farhad Jambusaria and Chetan Hemadi (-65) prevailed over Manav Panchal and Satbir Narula (-50) 165-141 in the first frame to put them in front before it was increased to 2-0 by Parikh's superb display against Haria.

Later, Hitesh Kotwani (-130) went on to tame Raajeev Sharma (-70) by a comfortable 230-166 margin in the third frame to pilot Potters to their second successive victory in the League.

For RRockets this was their first defeat after their fluent 3-0 win against Rajdhani Ke Aryans two days ago.

Reigning Asian Billiards Champion Dhruv Sitwala (-240) also came with up a couple of good breaks, including a century run, as he won both his frames to help Ottomans snatch a close 3-2 win against Rajdhani Ke Aryans in another league match.

Sitwala made breaks of 90 and 80 as he defeated Rishabh Kumar (-70) in the second frame and later had a runs of 125 and 52 in the fourth frame which he once again won against Kumar.

Ottomans Amit Sapru (-60) overcame Nalin Patel (-210) in the deciding 5th frame to wrap up the match.
