Bringing his vast experience to the fore, seasoned pro Siddharth Parikh made light of his stiff handicap by winning both his frames to enable his team Adamo Potters rally from behind to edge out Siddhant Strikers in the 2nd Videocon Billiards Premier League here.
Parikh's (-240 handicap)superb efforts enabled Potters to record a come from behind 3-2 win against the Strikers in the best-of-five-frames (100 up format) first round match.
In another match, veteran Devendra Joshi compiled multiple half century breaks as SPG Billiardiers cruised to a 3-0 win against Ottomans in the Billiards and Snooker Association of Maharashtra-organised Rs 10 lakh prize-money tournament.

Earlier, SPG's doubles pair of Shekar Surve and Shivam Arora (-95) defeated Ottomans combine of Derek Sippy and Amit Sapru (-45) 197-116 in the first frame and set the tone for SPG's triumph.
In the second frame, young Ishpreet Singh Chadha (-100) rose to the challenge against newly crowned Asian champion Dhruv Sitwala (-240) and won 287-200.
After Sitwala uncorked a 147 break, Ishpreet replied with a neat 89 to canter to victory.
RRockets also enjoyed a smooth outing as they strolled to a 3-0 win against Rajdhani Ke Aryans.
