A booklet containing the profile of Tagore in Hindi and English was presented to the dignitaries on the occasion.
The portrait of Tagore was unveiled by the then President of India Rajendra Prasad in the Central Hall on September 12, 1958, in recognition of his outstanding services to the nation.
