Indian-origin actress Parminder Nagra has emerged victorious in a bitter divorce settlement over her ex-husband James Stenson.

Stenson, a photographer by profession, launched a legal action against the former 'ER' star, claiming he deserved a portion of her earnings from the top medical drama as he gave up his job as a photographer to manage their life when she was cast in the show in 2004.

However, the pair has now come to an agreement, with Nagra keeping all of her income, residuals and royalties from her acting roles as well as the majority of their property, reported TMZ online.

The actress, who shot to fame with 2002 film 'Bend It Like Beckham', will keep their California home, worth more than USD 700,000, as well as their UK house, valued at USD 1.5 million, profits from the sale of a rental property and three of the couple's four cars.

Stenson will receive USD 450,000 from the sale of their rental property as well as USD 1,226 a month in child support for their four-year-old son Kai.

The couple wed in January 2009 and Nagra filed to end their marriage in February last year.
