Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said Goa will become the number one state in the country if the differently-abled students are provided all facilities.
"We are providing facilities to the differently-abled students. If we can provide hundred per cent coverage of facilities to the differently-abled students, we (Goa) can claim ourselves to be number one in the country," Parrikar said.
"I am sure, looking at the way educational facilities are being built for the differently-abled population, Goa will be the first state to have hundred per cent coverage up to graduation. This kind of facility I have not seen anywhere in the country," he said at an event organised by an educational institute for differently-abled students in Porvorim.
