Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today greeted former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his 90th birthday and saluted his fierce nationalism.
"On the occasion of Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji's birthday, I salute his fierce nationalism and contribution to a stronger and prosperous India," Parrikar said on Twitter.
The government is celebrating the BJP veteran's birthday as 'Good Governance Day'.
"I also pay my tributes to Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ji on his birth anniversary," he tweeted further.
Both the greats have been conferred with the Bharat Ratna.
