A partial shutdown was observed by the members of particular community in Bhaderwah tehsil of Doda district today over the Kashmir unrest.
Shops, business establishments and some private schools belonging to particular community remained closed. However, government-run schools, offices and banks functioned normally and traffic plied as usual.
The shutdown call was given by Anjuman-e-Isalamia Bhaderwah in protest against the Central and state governments for "not initiating" any talks on the Kashmir situation.
