It was a sunny day in parts of Bihar, even as Sabour in Bhagalpur district, which was the coldest, registered a minimum temperature of eight degrees Celsius.

The maximum temperature in Patna was 26.2 degrees Celsius against yesterday's 19.3 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature today was 9.7 degrees Celsius, the MeT department said.

Gaya recorded a low of 10.2 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 25.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature in Bhagalpur was 12 degrees Celsius. Purnea registered a low of 11 degrees Celsius and a high of 26.6 degrees Celsius which was the highest maximum temperature in the state, it said.

"North westerly wind has been blowing across the state which has reduced the moisture in the air. So people can expect a foggy/misty morning followed by sunshine in the next two to three days," a MeT official said.

It would be a foggy/misty morning with mainly clear skies in Patna, Bhagalpur and Purnea for the next two-three days, while Gaya would witness mist tomorrow.
